The owner of Uniondale 99 Cents Dollar Discount Store on Jerusalem Avenue is facing charges for illegally selling fireworks.

Police say officers saw several boxes of fireworks on display inside the business. Over 480 boxes were recovered from the store, according to detectives.

Police arrested the storeowner, 65-year-old Mohammad Yousuf. He is due in court Thursday morning.
