Detectives say Xavier Diaz took cash from two registers at the CVS on Glen Street overnight Monday and then drove off.
News 12 has been told officers pulled him over shortly after, but he sped off.
The 20-year-old was caught after he crashed into the Meadowbrook Parkway overpass on Glen Cove Road.
