Police say an SUV rolled off a dock and into the water in Patchogue.
They say a man was standing by his car on River Road at the Weeks Marina around 4:40 p.m. Sunday. That was when the car, which was in neutral, started to roll.
Officers say the man got into the car to try to stop it, but the SUV went into the water.
The man was able to get out and didn't sustain any injuries.
