Police: Suspect wanted in Patchogue bank robbery

Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot after the teller gave him the cash.

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help locating a man who robbed a bank Tuesday in Patchogue.

Detectives say the suspect entered the TD Bank on East Main Street around 1 p.m. and slid the teller a note demanding cash.

The teller complied and then he fled the scene on foot, according to authorities.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
