Police: Suspect wanted following discovery of man dead in Hempstead stairwell
Police tell News 12 that they received a 911 call from Jackson Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. reporting that the victim was bleeding in the stairwell.

9h agoA homicide suspect is wanted in connection to the death of a man that police found in a Hempstead stairwell on Saturday morning.
Police tell News 12 they received a 911 call from Jackson Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. reporting that the victim was bleeding in the stairwell.
Upon arrival, police say they found a 53-year-old man with stab wounds from an unknown weapon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say an investigation into the death is ongoing.
