A Nassau police officer is recovering after being attacked by a suspect in Levittown.
Police responded to the PC Richard's on Hempstead Turnpike Tuesday after Deshawn Webster allegedly tried to make a fraudulent transaction using fake documents.
Investigators say Webster then went after the officer, bit his hand and dislocated his thumb.
The manager of the PC Richard's was also hurt.
