A Calverton woman is accused of driving while high, leading police on a chase and then crashing with her children in the car.
Police say it started after a larceny at the CVS in Riverhead Saturday.
Police say that when officers tracked down Dominique Scaggs' vehicle, she wouldn't pull over.
During the chase, Scaggs allegedly hit a telephone pole, a parked car and crashed through a fence on Hamilton Avenue.
Police say Scaggs' 4-month-old son and 1-year-old daughter were in the back seat.
No one was seriously hurt.
Scaggs and her passenger, Alicia Descalzo, were both arrested.
