Police say they tracked down the suspect who broke into a Hicksville cellphone store with the help of a tracking device on one of the phones that was stolen.
Investigators say 32-year-old Christopher Lide, of Hempstead, broke into an AT&T shop on Saturday morning. He allegedly stole cash, several phones and iPad devices.
Investigators say they used a tracking device in one of the stolen phones to find Lide later that day. Lide was arrested on the Southern State Parkway.
Lide is being charged with third-degree burglary.
