Police in Southampton say they busted a prostitution ring that employed illegal immigrants and brought in hundreds of dollars a day.
Cops say 37-year-old Luis Ortiz Parra ran the brothel out of this home at 46 Longview Road. They say Parra bought in prostitutes from as far away as Queens to serve anywhere from 30 to 40 customers every night. According to authorities, he would pay the prostitutes $20 per customer and pocket $30-$40.
Southampton police conducted an undercover sting of the operation and arrested Parra, two prostitutes and a customer.
Next door neighbor Felix Gonzalez says he never suspected a thing, but is now worried about the types of people the alleged brothel brought into the neighborhood.
Police say the investigation is far from over. They ask anyone with information to call the Southampton Police Department?s crime tip line at 631-728-3454.
