The fight apparently happened on Nov. 4 around 5:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Huntington Public Library on New York Avenue.
It's unclear what caused the fight, but at some point detectives say the woman grabbed the man and broke his phone.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
