Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Patchogue gas station and sprayed the cashier with an unknown irritant.

They say the suspect went into an OK Petroleum Gas Station on New Year's Eve and stole the register before fleeing.

Detectives say he was wearing a black jacket with a baby Yoda hanging from it.

A cash reward is now being offered for information that helps lead to an arrest.
