Police are searching for the man who tried to rob two Nassau County banks yesterday.
Detectives say the man tried to rob the Roslyn Savings Bank in West Hempstead around 1 p.m. yesterday.
The man started to write a note demanding cash but ran off when the teller got suspicious.
About an hour later, cops say a man with the same description handed a teller a note at a Capital One Bank in Farmingdale. He got away with cash.
