A Brentwood man was arrested after police say he used his cell phone to take pictures up a 14-year-old girl?s skirt at the Smith Haven Mall.
According to police, 28-year-old Mauricio Rodriguez snapped photos of the girl at a Payless Shoe store Friday night. Police say the girl?s aunt saw Rodriguez taking the pictures, grabbed his cell phone and contacted authorities. Laura Ahearn of Parents for Megan's Law says pictures that are taken in secret could end up on the Internet.
Rodriguez is charged with unlawful surveillance in the second degree, which is a felony and endangering the welfare of a child.
