A Rocky Point woman has been arrested and is accused of driving with 18 license suspensions.

Police say they stopped Wanda Carter around 10:15 p.m. Thursday on Route 110 in East Farmingdale.

According to police, the 48-year-old made an unsafe turn out of the Americana Motel into oncoming traffic and in a rental car.

Police say when they ran Carter's license, they found that her license had been suspended 18 times.

Carter is facing a slew of charges including failing to operate a car without an interlock device.
