Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred in Hempstead last night.
According to detectives, Hempstead police officers responded to a residence on Jackson Street and Robson Place around 8:30 p.m.
Cops say upon arrival, they found a male on the front steps bleeding profusely from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital.
Police tell News 12 Long Island they have video from a surveillance camera that shows men in ski masks running from the scene.
