Police are searching for eight teenagers possibly linked to a hate crime against two Hispanic men in Patchogue Wednesday night.
Investigators say five young men and three women shouted racial slurs and shoved the two men outside a restaurant on Main Street.
The alleged bias crime comes two weeks after the stabbing death of Ecuadorian immigrant Marcelo Lucero in Patchogue.
So far, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Suffolk's Hate Crimes Unit at 631-852-6323.
