The incident happened at
Horseblock and Granny roads Thursday at 10:50 p.m.
The woman, whose name is
being withheld, was crossing Horseblock Road when an SUV hit her.
The woman is at Stony Brook
University Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver has not been
charged.
