10h agoPolice say a man has died after being hit by a car in Hempstead.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday on Peninsula Boulevard near President Street.
According to police, the man suffered severe trauma and died at the hospital.
The driver of the car was not hurt and stayed at the scene.
