2h agoA pedestrian is fighting for his life Sunday after police say he was hit by a car in Central Islip.
Officers say it happened on West Suffolk Avenue just before 9 p.m. Saturday.
News 12 is told an adult man was hit after walking in the roadway by a vehicle traveling westbound.
The driver was not injured in the crash.
Detectives are asking anyone with information in the crash to contact them.
