A Suffolk County police officer was injured Saturday after responding to a domestic dispute in Brentwood.
Investigators say the 21-year-old woman was drunk when she kicked the paramedic in the stomach and bit an officer on the hand.
Police did not address the issue in the information given to News 12 Long Island.
The woman now faces harassment and assault charges.
The officer was treated at a nearby hospital and later released.
