An Oakdale man died during an accidental electrocution while working in his basement Tuesday night, police say.

The incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. on Connetquot Drive.

The victim has been identified as 75-year-old Erhard Mueller. Police say he was discovered by a family member in his basement already deceased with power tools in close proximity to his body.

Police say they are still investigating the incident.
