Police: North Merrick man arrested for throwing explosive at woman's car
Detectives say James Luca left the scene after throwing an explosive at the hood of the victim’s car in February of 2023.

A North Merrick man has been arrested after police say he threw an explosive device at a woman’s car.
The car was parked in the victim’s driveway on Sherman Avenue.
Police say Luca was pulled over on Sunday and arrested.
Luca is facing weapon, arson and criminal mischief charges.
