Police are continuing to search for a man they say threw
an explosive device onto a car in North Merrick.
Detectives tell News 12 the incident happened Sunday
around 5:30 p.m. on Sherman Avenue.
Police say the man walked up to a driveway of a home and
threw the device onto a parked white Cadillac Escalade.
The device went off and damaged the front of the car.
No one was
injured.
Police say the man ran off heading east toward Park
Avenue.
