A New Hyde Park man has been arrested in connection to a fatal crash in Williston Park.
Police say David Bernardi, 29, was driving while high when he hit a pedestrian on Hillside Avenue near Broad Street.
The 74-year-old victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Bernardi is charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while ability impaired.
