Police: Middle Island man paid for snow removal services then never showed up

A Middle Island man has been arrested in Queens for scamming multiple people.
Police say Christopher Picone began reaching out to people over social media to offer snow removal services.
Fifteen people accepted his services and paid him in advance.
The 32-year-old never showed up and then disconnected his phone.
Picone is now facing multiple defrauding charges.
