3h agoPolice say one person has died following a fatal crash involving a medical emergency in Mastic Beach.
Police say the incident happened Tuesday afternoon on Mastic Road.
Investigators say the driver, Brian Baker, suffered the medical episode which caused him to lose control and hit a utility pole and a tree.
The 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
A family member riding in the car with Baker suffered minor injuries.
