Police say the man accused of taking pictures of a boy in the bathroom stall of a North Babylon restaurant is a teacher.
Suffolk police tell News 12 Luis Flores Jr. is a part-time teacher at Branford Institute in Amityville.
Flores Jr. was arrested yesterday for taking pictures of an 8-year-old in a bathroom at Hibachi Grill restaurant on May 17.
"When the youth was in the stall, he noticed that a hand was reaching over and saw the flash from the cellphone camera," says Suffolk Police Detective Lt. Robert Edwards.
Detectives say the boy immediately told his parents what he saw.
Flores was charged with unlawful surveillance.
