yesterdayPolice launched a search for a man who they say burglarized a Rite Aid drug store in Massapequa.
According to detectives, the man walked into a restricted area with a black backpack and then headed to the basement.
They say after the man exited the store, they determined he removed merchandise valued at around $4,700.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
