Police are searching for a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint in Mineola on Saturday.
Police say a suspect approached an employee at the BP on Jericho Turnpike around 5:30 p.m.
They say the suspect demanded cash and then threatened the employee with a gun.
News 12 was told the employee handed over the money, and the suspect ran from the scene.
Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned man in his mid-20s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and he was wearing a black mask.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
