Police are searching for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven overnight in Bethpage.

Nassau detectives say it happened around 1:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Hempstead Turnpike. 

News 12 was told a man walked into the store, showed a knife and demanded cash.

The employee opened the register and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash before running off. 

The robber is described as a white man with a medium build. He was wearing dark clothing and a surgical mask. 

Anyone with information is urged to call the police.
