Police are warning Nassau residents that a man in a van is offering candy to young girls in the area.
Police say the man in a black van approached kids five times in Lakeview, Lynbrook and Valley Stream in the last month.
According to police, the man targets girls walking to school or coming home in the afternoon.
Some kids approached were as young as 8 years old.
