A man was struck and killed by a car in East Patchogue Friday night.
The incident happened at around 8 p.m. on Sills Road.
Police say Peter Alker, of Mastic Beach, was crossing the road when he was hit by the car.
They say the 56-year-old died.
Police say the driver remained at the scene and has not been charged.
