Police: Man struck by car in Huntington Station critically hurt

A pedestrian was critically hurt while trying to cross a street in Huntington Station Saturday night.

A pedestrian was critically hurt while trying to cross a street in Huntington Station Saturday night.
Police say an unidentified man was hit by a Honda CRV on New York Avenue around 9 p.m.
He was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center.
Police say the driver was a 52-year-old from Brooklyn. He was not hurt.
No charges have been filed as of yet.
