Police say a man was shot in a Bay Shore parking lot Wednesday evening.

According to police, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment building on Hemlock Drive.

The unidentified man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police are still searching for the suspect.
