Nassau County's homicide squad says a Glen Cove resident was shot Thursday morning.
Police responded to a 911 call for shots fired and swarmed the apartment building located at 200 Carney Street around 11 a.m.
According to police, a 47-year-old man, who is a resident of the building, was shot in the garage. He is in stable condition.
Detectives tell News 12 Long Island that the motive is unclear, but there is no active shooter.
It is not clear if a suspect is in custody.
