Police say a man was attacked and robbed while standing in his own driveway outside of his Fort Salonga home.
The 73-year-old victim was accosted in front of his Woodmere Road home Sunday night. The robber did not display a weapon, but he pushed the man to the ground and stole cash, police say.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
No one answered the door at the victim's home today, but neighbors theorize that the suspect may have hid in some bushes and surprised the man. They say their street is dark at night because it has no streetlights.
Police say there have not been similar robberies reported in the area and that their investigation is ongoing.
