yesterdayThree suspects were arrested for robbing a man in Inwood Friday night while wielding knives and a hammer.
Detectives say the three male suspects approached the victim as he was leaving the El Brother Deli and Grocery on Mott Avenue at around 9:30 p.m.
The trio waved knives and a hammer at him and demanded his money. Police say he gave them cash and was left unharmed.
Authorities say the three men now face charges including robbery and menacing.
