Police are investigating a violent armed robbery in Elmont.
According to police, four men kicked in a door to a basement apartment on 237th Street around 12:45 a.m.
Police say the gunmen then pistol whipped a 28-year-old man in the apartment and took off with cash, jewelry and car keys.
The victim suffered a cut to the head, but refused medical attention.
Police say three of the suspects were wearing ski masks and the fourth wore a white "Scream" Halloween mask.
