The search is on in Nassau County for a suspect that police say set a portable bathroom on fire on the front lawn of a Levittown home, damaging the house.
The porta potty is not there anymore, but News 12 was told it was set on fire, and a person was seen running away. Police say the man was on fire as he took off.
It happened early Saturday morning on Sprucewood Drive.
Police say the arson squad responded at 4:30 a.m. The house appears to be under construction, and News 12 is told it was also damaged in the fire.
Authorities did not say how the fire was started. So far, no injuries have been reported.
