Stereo Garden in Patchogue is the election headquarters for the Suffolk County Republican Party, where supporters will watch election results and rally behind GOP candidates in several closely watched races.
With polls still open, party faithful gathered at Republican election headquarters in Patchogue, where organizers expected the crowd to grow significantly as voting wrapped up and results began to come in.
Republicans are closely watching the reelection bids of U.S. Reps. Nick LaLota and Andrew Garbarino, both incumbents seeking another two-year term in Congress. Party leaders are also focused on expanding Republican representation in the New York State Legislature.
Suffolk GOP Chairman Jesse Garcia said one of the party’s top priorities is to “break the veto-proof majorities that Democrats currently have” in Albany.
Republicans at the event said they are campaigning on issues including lowering taxes, reducing utility costs, strengthening the economy and improving public safety.
Garcia also expressed confidence in Republican turnout throughout Election Day and encouraged anyone who had not yet voted to head to the polls before they closed.
“There’s about a few hours left to vote,” Garcia said. “My suggestion is you go to your local polling place. The machines are easy and if you really want lower taxes, safer neighborhoods, more open spaces and cleaner water, you vote for Republicans.”
The Suffolk GOP planned to closely monitor results throughout the evening, with party leaders and candidates expected to address supporters as returns come in from across Long Island and New York state.

Months of campaigning for positions up and down the ballot come to an end today as New Yorkers cast their ballots for the 2026 Midterm Election.
There are plenty of races on Long Island including all four Congressional seats, every seat on both the Nassau and Suffolk County legislatures, five town supervisor jobs including all three in Nassau, Suffolk County clerk and comptroller.
Every New Yorker will also weigh in on three statewide races for governor, attorney general and comptroller.
For the second cycle in a row, incumbent Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul is seeking to win over a Long Island Republican.
Hochul has had an advantage in nearly every poll against challenger Republican Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman in the lead-up to Election Day, but Blakeman has to look no further than 2022, when then-Long Island Congressman Lee Zeldin came within six points of victory.
Zeldin carried both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. That's momentum Blakeman is hoping to build on.
Blakeman is scheduled to cast his vote at Atlantic Beach Village Hall this morning.
Hochul cast her ballot early on Oct. 24 in her hometown of Buffalo.
A Gallup Poll released last week found that the economy, healthcare and the situation in Iran are among the top issues on voters' minds as they head to the polls today.
