Police say a Shirley man has been hit and killed along a busy roadway in Suffolk County.

The incident happened on the William Floyd Parkway on the overpass at Sunrise Highway in Shirley.

Police say around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, a car hit 25-year-old Jordon Hubbard.

Police say Hubbard say was in the road. Hubbard was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car has not been charged.
