Police say a man has been arrested and is accused of attempting to kidnap a woman in Rockville Centre.

Detectives say Isaac Tollinchi was hiding in a garbage pail on Wednesday morning.

That is when police say he tried to grab a 48-year-old woman who was walking into her job on Sunrise Highway.

News 12 has been told he tried to force her to his car, but she was able to get away.

The 56-year-old was arrested the following day near the victim’s home in Queens.

Tollinchi is charged with attempted kidnapping.
