A Queens man is accused of following people from banks and breaking into their cars in Nassau County.
Fabio Diaz Sierra, 46, of College Point, followed three people on different occasions after they left banks, Nassau police say.
The man waited until the victims parked at another location and then took cash from their vehicles.
These incidents happened between October and November of 2025 at the Chase Bank in Garden City Park and TD Bank in Mineola, according to police.
Police tell News 12 Diaz Sierra was released into the custody of ICE agents.
