3h agoA man died after falling through the roof of a building Friday in Glen Cove, police say.
Glen Cove police responded to the commercial building around 11:50 a.m. at 40 Garvies Point Road.
Police found the 26-year-old man on the ground after he had fallen through the roof he had been working on. They identified the victim as Noe Diaz-Gamez, of Huntington Station.
He suffered severe head trauma and was airlifted to a hospital by a Nassau County police helicopter for treatment.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
