A man was killed in a chain-reaction crash in East Garden City late Monday afternoon, police say.

They say a flatbed tow truck hit two other vehicles, killing a 57-year-old man in a white van.

His identity has not been released.

A woman and a 16-year-old passenger were also hurt and taken to the hospital.
