Police have arrested a Brooklyn man who is accused of
assaulting a man at an Island Park car dealership.
Police say Steven Megel got into a fight with a 59-year-old at the
dealership on Austin Boulevard on Monday.
News 12 is told that Megel grabbed a cellphone out of the victim’s hand
and then fled the scene.
Officials say Megel hit two cars, injuring a driver, before taking off on foot.
He is charged with robbery and assault.
