A Queens man is facing charges for an alleged hit-and-run that critically injured a 91-year-old in Roslyn Heights, according to police.
Detectives say Farridun Djumaev, 39, struck the man as he was crossing Mineola Avenue in Jan. 2024.
Djumaev left the scene and remained at large until his arrest on Thursday.
Police say he was arraigned in Hempstead.
