A man was arrested Saturday for exposing and touching himself near a woman by a Uniondale elementary school, according to police.

Detectives say the 22-year-old victim saw Willian Portillo Melara committing the act inside a car around 2:45 p.m. Friday.

She then crossed the road to Smith Street School and informed a security guard.

The 29-year-old Dix Hills resident allegedly drove away when the guard approached the vehicle.

Police say they arrested Melara the following day and charged him with public lewdness.
