A police stop in Brookhaven ended with a chase and a DWI arrest, according to police.
Police say around midnight, an officer tried to stop a driver on South Country Road in Brookhaven. That driver, Kyle Milken, 27, of Patchogue, took off.
According to police, Milken then hit a utility pole by Trout Ponds Court in Patchogue, jumped out of the car and tried to run. He was arrested minutes later.
Milken will be arraigned on DWI charges.
