2ds agoA Southold man has been arrested after police say he was caught driving drunk and in possession of cocaine on the East End.
Officers say they were tipped off by another driver on Route 25 near Eugenes Road and then tried to stop Johnny Lopez Mijangos.
Police say Mijangos refused and kept driving.
Mijangos then sped through a school zone and crossed over to the wrong side of Main Road several times.
According to police, they finally stopped the 24-year-old on Peconic Lane.
Police say they found multiple open alcohol beverages inside the car and baggies of cocaine.
Lopez Mijangos was driving without a valid license because of prior alcohol-related offenses.
Lopez Mijangos is facing multiple charges.
